Meet Maggie Keenan
Maggie F. Keenan, Ed.D. has never been the kind of business owner or long distance runner that is content being behind the leader. Instead, Maggie wakes up every morning driven by the desire to make a difference in the world, inspire others to do the same and to get her miles in. She is the Owner & Chief Giving Strategist of givingadvice™ dedicated to providing strategic philanthropy services to business.
Through her work at givingadvice™, Maggie guides businesses through a Six Step Giving IMPACT Strategy model™ to provide a blueprint and giving strategy that is unique for each client. Her focus and determination means that businesses can make stronger and more synergistic connections between their business and causes. Her clients are most attracted by her passion and vision for what she sees possible for their contribution to the world. With an uncanny ability to connect ideas, people and causes, Maggie sees opportunities all around for anyone that desires to be a force for change.
She often appears on numerous radio shows and teleseminars and is frequently interviewed by the media. She has been featured in MORE Magazine, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Washington Business Journal. Maggie is the editor of the book Small Businesses Give BIG. Maggie lives and works in Savannah, Georgia. She holds a Doctorate from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Temple University. She's a member of the Inaugural Class of the Robert Hull Leadership Fellow of Southeastern Council of Foundations, and a 2000 Savannah Leadership Fellow. She is also the Founder of Savannah Women Connect, a professional business women's network. An avid runner and successful entrepreneur, you can find Maggie running on the beach when she isn't in her office. |
